Alex and Alicia

When Alex and Alicia met, they were both working in a movie theater. Alex said that the smell of warm, buttery popcorn initially drew him to her. That friendship that they developed while working together, became romance and love.
The couple chose the enchanting Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange, Florida as the location where they wanted to get married. With quaint little cottages on the grounds, a miniature railway, and a 19th century chapel, it was the perfect location for Alex and Alicia to get married.
Colette with Vows and Views was the day of coordinator and the florist for this intimate little wedding ceremony. With white Calla lilies and roses in the hands of every bridesmaid and pin to the lapel of every groomsmen, everyone looked amazing
DJ Vern with Pyramid Disc Jockey brought the sound equipment and the tunes for the couples wedding day. From classical music as the couple walk down the aisle to contemporary music that kept the dance floor busy all night; he did an incredible job of DJing this wedding.
Hinge Bundt cakes brought the most delicious desserts for the reception. There were Bundt cakes everywhere and Alex and Alicia were thrilled to share those with their family and friends.
Chef Papa’s Café and catering brought the most scrumptious food for the wedding reception. By the end of the evening, everyone was full and completely satisfied with these delectable offerings.
Jennifer with Jennifer-Juniper Photography brought her team of professionals to make sure that every moment of Alex and Alicia‘s wedding was captured for them to share for a lifetime. From the gentleman getting ready and a train car to the ladies getting ready and a cottage, through the ceremony in the historic chapel and the reception in the main building Jennifer and her team, were there to record it all.
Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant, worked with Alex and Alicia to make sure that their custom wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect. When Alex asked Rev Glynn to read something in Spanish he took it as a challenge and nailed the pronunciation perfectly.  Rev.Glynn gave the two of them a homework assignment; to write and tell him why they love each other
Alex wrote: “From the moment our paths connected, I was captivated by your radiant smile, infectious laugh, and the warm, buttery scent of popcorn you were serving. I remember looking for reasons, even making up excuses, to talk to you. Eight years later, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter and adventure. You’re my confidant, my anchor, my best friend. You’re my shoulder to lean on, my forever & always. Hand-in-hand, there is no one else I’d rather journey through this crazy adventure called life with. Te amo con todo mi corazón.”
Alicia wrote: What I adore about Alex is his beautiful heart. He embodies kindness, thoughtfulness, and authenticity unlike anyone I’ve known. His incredible sense of humor brightens even the toughest moments, reassuring me that everything will be alright. I can always rely on him and he always knows just what to say to put a smile on my face. He’s my best friend, my rock, and the person I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with. “
