Brandy and Jakob’s Wedding could not happen as planned because the Navy Groom was needed immediately to serve America. They were determined to be married no matter what- and not knowing what the future would hold. Brandy’s wedding dress was put in storage – until 15 years later. With Jakob returning from a 2 year deployment- coming home just before their 15 year anniversary of courthouse nuptials, Brandy decided to look at her dress for the first time in all those years- and seeing it in perfect condition- tried it on and was surprised to see it also fit perfectly! So- in just one week, she planned for the wedding she never had- a Vow Renewal at DISNEYWORLD! Rev Joy Blessing wrote a custom ceremony that also included participation by their two young daughters. Just after they stated their vows- fireworks exploded over the Magic Kingdom- perfect for this truly Magical Moment in time at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
