Wind, Fire, and a Gorgeous Wedding Ceremony
Officiant Lon Tosi conducted a wedding ceremony on March 2, at the gorgeous Hammock Beach Resort – overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There were a few obstacles to the wedding going off right from the start. First, there was a 600-acre blaze that shut down I-95 just as Lon was on it. He rerouted and was able to make it to the resort in time for the start of the wedding. Then there was the wind. It threatened to blow away the book that Lon was holding as he was conducting the ceremony. Even Stephen the groom got into the act by momentarily holding the book along with Lon, so that the 35 mph wind did not blow it away. Finally though, the bride and groom exchanged vows, and readings. Their unique wedding featured a wine box ceremony and words about an ancient Korean tradition – the Wooden Duck. It all happened under a sunny blue sky. Congratulations to Krista and Stephen Cornell as they begin their journey through life together. Thanks also to the wonderful people who helped this wonderful event They were Hammock Beach Resort and Diamond Receptions.
