A Pier 22 Wedding

From Minnesota to Pier 22

Chandra and Hans came all the way from Minnesota and chose Pier 22, the landmark restaurant along downtown Bradenton’s Riverwalk, as the venue for their destination wedding ceremony on a beautiful afternoon in mid-March.  Chandra looked gorgeous in her wedding gown as she was escorted down the aisle by her father and mother to join Hans in front of their wedding arch on the waterfront terrace.  There, with a magnificent view of the Manatee River as their backdrop and an intimate gathering of their family and friends, the couple shared their custom designed ceremony and vows (which included the warming of the rings). The couple exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.

Their ceremony also included the tying of a bowline, representing their union as husband and wife, which also reflected on their mutual love of sailing.  There was even a surprise sighting of some dolphins in the river during their family and group pictures.  Venue coordination was provided by Jillian (Catering and Restaurant Sales Manager) and the rest of the staff of Pier 22; along with flawless Wedding Coordination by A True Love Affair Intimate Florida Weddings.  Special thanks to Tammy, with True Love Photography, for providing this picture as Chandra shared her ring vows with Hans.
