Florida Feel
Having recently moved to Orlando, Julie and Daniel decided that this would be the perfect location for their friends and family to come for their wedding. With Julie being a huge Walt Disney World fan, it was the obvious choice to be married close to the resorts, but at the same time having a distinctively Florida feel.
Margaritaville Resort fit the bill perfectly. There on the terrace, with arching palm trees behind them and steel drums ringing in the air, Dan and Julie took their vows, exchanged wedding rings, and became husband and wife before their family and close friends. The Florida feel of this location is perfect for everything from a laid-back casual ceremony all the way to a formal affair.
Danielle with Dream Design Florist captured the Florida feel in Julie’s beautiful bouquet and Dan’s boutonniere. With stargazer orchids, apricot roses, and midnight orchids the rich colors were absolutely perfect for this couple.
Making sure that the entire day was captured for years of shared memories Jamie DiOrio Photography got it all. She worked with the couple to embrace the Florida feel of the entire wedding.
Julie and Dan asked Rev. Glynn Ferguson, an official Walt Disney World Officiant, and owner of Sensational Ceremonies, to help them bring that Florida feel into their ceremony while acknowledging the reverence of the occasion. He also, asked the two of them to write to him and tell him why they love each other.
Julie wrote of Dan: Dan always knows how to make me feel special! From the beginning of our relationship, Dan made spending time with me a priority in his life and has embraced passions of mine as well as brought me into his life and the things that are important to him. He has indulged my love of all things Disney, and our journey together has even brought us closer to the magic by moving to Orlando. Dan always knows how to make me smile, have fun, and encourages me to be authentically me. I love the way he thinks I’m beautiful inside and out and never hesitates to say it and show it. Dan is honest with me, but also kind, encouraging, and affectionate. I love that I feel so safe with him and can be completely vulnerable and open with him. Although patience might not be the first word that comes to mind when others think of Dan :), I love that Dan is patient with me in his care and comfort when I feel sad, frustrated, or lonely. In Dan I have found someone I can trust to love me, be there for me, be my best friend, and share the ups and downs of life. I am so blessed that he loves me and I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with him and experience all of the adventures God has for us
Dan wrote of Julie: Julie has been supportive of me from the day that we met. Through challenges that I have faced in my life she listens without judgement and with complete understanding. Julie offers her heart on a daily basis as well as anything else that she has to give in an effort to build me up and truly strives to help me see what I have to offer the world. Julie is the kindest heart that I have ever met and I am excited to be able to spend the rest of my life with her.
