Love stories have a way of leading couples exactly where they are meant to be. For Lauren and Martin, that journey brought them all the way from Kent, England to the heart of Orlando, Florida for a breathtaking wedding celebration at the beautiful Paddlefish at Walt Disney World.
After exploring many options for the perfect wedding venue, the couple fell in love with Paddlefish. The stunning three-story modern riverboat offers incredible waterfront views of Village Lake, with the gorgeous Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa visible in the distance. The romantic atmosphere, elegant design, and unforgettable sunset views made it the ideal location for their intimate destination wedding.
Working closely with the team at Intimate Weddings of Orlando, Lauren and Martin were able to create the wedding day of their dreams. Victoria, their dedicated wedding planner, guided the couple through every step of the planning process. From coordinating vendors to organizing timelines and even recommending fun places to visit after the ceremony, she made sure every detail was perfectly arranged. Her care and attention helped create a stress-free and joyful experience for the couple.
Their heartfelt ceremony was officiated by Rev. Glynn Ferguson, owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant. Rev. Ferguson worked with Lauren and Martin to create a fully customized ceremony that reflected their unique love story and deep connection.
As part of the process, the couple was asked to share why they loved one another. Their words were emotional, genuine, and full of devotion.
Lauren shared that Martin is her best friend and the person who makes her laugh every single day. She spoke about how he has stood by her side through every season of life — the happy moments, difficult times, and even the hormonal days of pregnancy. She described him as the love of her life, an amazing father to their son Dylan, and the steady rock of their family. Most importantly, she expressed how excited she was to spend forever with him.
Martin’s words were equally touching. He shared that from the very first day he met Lauren on the beach, he knew she was “the one.” He called meeting her the best day of his life. After 15 wonderful years together, Martin said Lauren still completes him. He praised her as an incredible mother to their son Dylan and thanked her for everything she does for their family. His greatest wish is to grow old together and continue making beautiful memories side by side.

The elegant wedding arch on Paddlefish’s third-floor deck was provided by Crystal Event Rentals. The beautiful floral arrangements were designed by Atmospheres Floral and Decor, including the gorgeous sprays attached to the arch, Lauren’s bouquet, and Martin’s matching boutonniere.
To make their destination wedding completely stress-free, Married By Mail helped the couple secure their Florida marriage license before they even arrived in the Sunshine State. Dianne personally delivered the license to the officiant, ensuring everything was ready for their wedding day.
With perfect weather, a stunning waterfront venue, and the people they loved most surrounding them, Lauren and Martin truly experienced a real-life happily ever after.
