Beckendorff Farms in Katy, Texas

Tucked in the ranch land on the west side of Houston, near Katy, is this INCREDIBLE barn venue, Beckendorff Farms.  Now I’m not one to swoon of any barn venue, but this is an exception.  Our Houston team loved our site visit at this fantastic wedding venue.  Originally built in Ohio in 1855 this barn was carefully taken apart piece by piece, numbered, and brought to Texas.  Amish craftsmen, who were familiar with this type of construction, reassembled this towering duel peak barn with precision.  Original timbers abound everywhere you look.  From the supports, the walls, even the colorful barn wood ceiling, this place has history written all over it.  You can see the great care and personal pride the owners have for this unique venue.  From outside views of the ranch for a ceremony or inside under the towering roof for the reception this place is beautiful. Crystal chandeliers hang from the rustic ceiling just to give a little sparkle to richness of this rustic barn. With a rolling bar that was crafted for similar wood, to the bride’s space with outlets galore, the attention to detail they have taken with this venue to make it adaptable for everyone is amazing.
