Cathy and Brax

Cathy and Brax live in Connecticut, but Cathy’s dream was always to have a beach wedding.  Unfortunately, Hurricane’s Helene and Milton threatened that dream as their original venue was damaged.  Thankfully, they discovered the beautiful Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club as the replacement venue for their destination beach wedding ceremony and reception in mid-November. 

Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club is nestled between the southern tip of St. Petersburg and just north of Tierra Verde.  Also, just minutes away from St. Pete Beach, Isla hosts spectacular views of Boca Ciega Bay, and Brides and Grooms can host an outdoor ceremony utilizing the private beach and gazebo.  It is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Tampa Bay! It was the perfect location for Cathy and Brax to get married.

Cathy looked gorgeous in her wedding gown as she was escorted down the aisle by her uncle, to join Brax in front of their wedding gazebo.  The couple’s custom designed ceremony included words about Love, Friendship, Loyalty, Fidelity and Trust; the Warming of the Rings, a Sand Ceremony and a Blessing Stone Toss.  Then, as their friends and family looked on, and with a stunning view of Boca Ciega Bay as their backdrop, Cathy and Brax shared their vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore with Sensational Ceremonies.
