Kingsley and Jon
Even though Kingsley and John grew up at opposite ends of the country from one another, their love for military aviation was the perfect connection to bring them together. Jon in aviation school and in Kingsley working at the Department. have a chemistry since you can understand or explain outside of military circles. The couple decided to get married at the gorgeous Walt Disney World wedding Pavilion in Orlando Florida. There on the shore of the Seven Seas Lagoon the couple exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
Rachel with Disney Fairytale Weddings did and exceptional job of helping to make sure that every detail of Kingsley and John‘s wedding day ran smoothly. For meeting them for photos in the lobby of the Grand Floridian, to lining everyone up as they walked down the aisle, the Disney fairytale weddings team took care of everything.
Dean with Disney Fine Art Photography did a wonderful job of making sure to capture every moment of Kingsley and Jon ‘s wedding day, from formal pictures at the grand Floridian, through their beautiful ceremony at the wedding pavilion and over to the reception afterwards Dean photographed it all.
Rev Glynn Ferguson, one of the talented official, Disney wedding officiants, and the owner of Sensational Ceremonies, worked with Kingsley and Jon to create a bespoke wedding ceremony that fit the two of them like Cinderella slipper.
He asked them to write and tell him why they love each other and then incorporated that into their ceremony.
Kingsley wrote: Jon is my best friend. He is the first person I want to tell good news to or just about the smallest events in my life. He makes an excellent listener and always makes an effort to learn about the things I love too. I love the way Jon wants to share his world with me. He is passionate about his hobbies, goals and future. He is thoughtful, driven, and selfless in such a natural way. He notices every small detail. He can tell when I’m overwhelmed before I say anything and is always the calm when I start to spiral. I admire both his humor and wit, but also crave his perspective on life and the world. It feels like Jon was made just for me. I love the way we can be completely ourselves together. I truly cannot believe someone like him exists in this world, my exact other half.
Jon wrote: The easiest thing to love about Kingsley is how passionate she is about her goals and hobbies. Whether it’s volleyball, traveling, or learning to cook, she always finds ways to include me and spend quality time together. It has never been difficult to find adventure with Kingsley. Every memory I’ve made with her means the world to me, and it makes me so excited to imagine all of the experiences we will continue to share together.
In addition, I love the way Kingsley treats the people she cares about and how she makes a positive impact on everyone who knows her. Being around her inspires me to be my best self, knowing that she will always support me. It is second nature to trust her as my best friend and closest companion.
Lastly, I love her commitment to creating the best future possible for us. She consistently prioritizes our wellbeing and careers so that we can build a life filled with opportunity and stability. Kingsley is both my greatest source of peace and my favorite source of adventure. Without a doubt, asking Kingsley to be my wife is the best decision I’ve ever made
