Michael and Michele
Michael and Michele met a New York City when the two of them were working at attorneys and a law firm there. Their deep friendship became love later on, and the rest is history. A couple shows Paradise Cove in Orlando as the beautiful tropical setting for their intimate wedding ceremony.
Paradise Cove is situated on the shores of Lake Brian, and it is a beautiful tropical retreat for the busy city life. With towering bald cypress trees, Spanish Moss, and an amazing view of the lake, Paradise Cove has no equal in Orlando.
KMD Photography and film captured every moment of the couples wedding day. From Michael and Michele, getting ready, family, portraits, and all through their ceremony reception. Even when there was a brisk rain storm during the ceremony, KMD came prepared and threw up an umbrella over their equipment so they could still capture the tender moment of them, exchanging their rings under a clear umbrella.
Rev, Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an Orlando wedding officiant, worked with Michele and Michael to their custom ceremony that was filled with both laughter and tears. Rev. Ferguson gave the two of them homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Michelle wrote: Although I knew very quickly that Mike was the one for me based purely off a feeling I had in my heart… the more time with him the more confirmation I had as to why I wanted to spend my life loving him. Life with Michael is so much fun. Whether we’re playing board games, playing video games or going for long walks (mostly on our pandemic days!) and now, running around Disney World and Universal… time with him is always my favorite. I remember the first time he met my new kitten Gracie, we had just started dating, and he had fallen in love with Gracie immediately. Our cat Gracie is truly the heart of our little family and completes us. One of my favorite things about Mike is his love for animals and animal rights.
When we first started dating, I saw this quote that has always stuck with me. “Some people, as far as senses are concerned, just feel like home”. As simple as that, Michael always felt like home. On our first date, I remember feeling as if I had known him my whole life. I never felt nervous or confused, always a sense of peace and excitement. He is the man I prayed relentlessly for. Michael has a calming presence that makes me feel at peace and safe when he is around. His subtle humor that makes me laugh until I cry… his ability to channel his inner child and be silly to embrace life regardless of what others think… he shows me every day true honor, love and faithfulness. I just can’t wait to marry my best friend!
Michael wrote: I met Michele while we were both working for the same Law Firm. Honestly my first impression of her was that she seemed like a handful. She had a broken foot and a third degree burnt hand. I threw a piece of paper at her once as I walked by and she fell off of her chair. Michele was always very loud, walking around the office talking to everyone, I’m not sure she ever actually worked. She was quite amusing.
A few years went by and we were out in NYC on St. Patty’s day together. We no longer worked together at this point and I looked at her differently that night. Michele is the type to light up any room she walks into. She’s a ball of energy and enthusiasm which is quite the opposite of me, the balance I needed. She’s supported me and lifted me up in times when I really needed, spiritually and emotionally. I knew early on we made a perfect team to lift each other up when the other was down.
Less than a month into dating, I looked at her while we were having a picnic in Astoria Park and saw my future wife. I told her dozens of times I would marry her someday. Michele is more than anything I could have imagined in a future wife. Effortless beauty, quirky and weird, funny and energetic.
I have a scripture that I found when we first began dating and it has held a lot of meaning not only behind my life but my journey to Michele. Jeremiah 29:11, 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Atmosphere Floral and Decor created the beautiful and colorful bouquets, boutonnières, arch decor, and table, decorations for Michele and Michael’s Lakeside wedding.
Soundwave entertainment provided the amazing music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and kept dancing on the floor laid into the evening. DJ Dennis really kept Michele and Michael rockin’ throughout the evening.
Congratulations, we wish you the very best. I know that God has his hand on your marriage.
