November Ceremony
Casey and Robert chose the Veterans Memorial Park in Tampa as the location for their intimate ceremony in late-November.
The Park, originally called Tesawee Park, was established by Hillsborough County officials and local veterans in the 1980’s and is located on U.S. 301 along the Cross Channel Canal. A small museum was constructed on the site to display military artifacts and to act as a gathering place for small groups. In 1992, county officials and veteran advocates erected the Freedom Memorial to honor all members of the military, both living and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Casey looked beautiful as she was escorted by her stepfather down the park path to join Robert in the shade of two Oak Trees. The couple’s custom ceremony included words about love, friendship, loyalty, fidelity and trust. Then, in front of an intimate gathering of their family and friends, the couple shared their own personal wedding vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.
Special thanks to Tammy, with True Love Photography, for providing this beautiful picture as Casey shared her ring vows with Robert during their ceremony, and A True Love Affair Intimate Florida Weddings for coordinating the details.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lind!
