Original Date
Kelsey and Greg decided to postpone their wedding celebration until December 2021 due to Covid-19. However they still wanted to get married, so they decided to elope on their original date in early February and chose the new, luxury and multi-use venue, Mision Lago Estate in Thonotosassa, FL.
The 20-acre, lakefront property is situated on Lake Thonotosassa (only 20 minutes from Downtown Tampa and an hour from Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Orlando). Mision Lago Estate provides a rustic ranch setting, beautiful greenery (including Palm Trees, Live Oaks and Olive Trees), a vineyard and orchid nursery, and a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned barn. Also, located directly outside the Barn is a courtyard complete with artificial turf, Sycamore trees, bistro lights and a Koi pond with a tumbling waterfall. The Mision Lago Estate Gate Tower in the background will make guests feel like they have stepped into Northern Italy.
Kelsey looked gorgeous in her wedding gown as she made her way through the vineyard, to join Greg in front of their wedding arch on their original date. The couples’ custom designed wedding ceremony included a special Thank You to their brother and sister, the Blessing of the Hands and special reading The Art of Marriage. Then, in front of their brother and sister, and with an amazing view of the horse pasture behind them and vineyard in front of them, the couple shared their vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.
Venue Coordination was provided by Karin, and Special Thanks to Buffy, with Lifelong Photography Studio for providing this beautiful photo during their intimate ceremony.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Greg Katkin!
