Hey everyone! Get ready to smile, because we’ve got a super sweet love story to share. Tasha and Jeremy wanted to tie the knot in a small, special way, so they decided to elope! They reached out to Intimate Weddings of Tampa, and we were so excited to help them plan their perfect day at the beautiful Gizella Kopsick Arboretum.
Finding Their Perfect Spot: A Hidden Gem in St. Pete!
If you’ve never heard of it, the Gizella Kopsick Arboretum is like a secret garden nestled in St. Petersburg’s North Shore Park. It’s right on the sparkly waters of Tampa Bay, and just minutes from the fun downtown area. Imagine this: this amazing spot used to be a miniature golf course! Now, it’s two acres filled with over 500 palm trees and cycads from all over the world – it’s like stepping into a tropical wonderland. This makes it a truly unique wedding venue!
The Arboretum features a charming gazebo, cozy wooden benches tucked away in “conversation corners,” and pretty red brick paths that wind gracefully through all the greenery. It’s truly a picturesque setting and was the absolutely perfect romantic backdrop for Tasha and Jeremy’s intimate ceremony. Talk about wedding goals in a garden!
A Ceremony Full of Heart and Meaning
Tasha and Jeremy’s custom wedding ceremony was incredibly heartfelt and truly special. They included a beautiful part called the Blessing of the Hands, which is a lovely way to show deep connection and promise to each other. It’s a symbol of how their lives are now joined forever.
After that, they shared their own personal wedding vows, promising forever to each other from the heart. Then, they exchanged their wedding rings, which are timeless symbols of their endless love and commitment. Finally, the wonderful Rev Rick Lackore with Sensational Ceremonies officially pronounced them husband and wife! You could just feel the happiness radiating from Tasha and Jeremy as they became the new Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Brown. It was such a joyous moment!

To make their day even more beautiful, Iza’s Flowers created gorgeous floral arrangements for the couple. The flowers added such an elegant touch to their dream elopement, perfectly matching the natural beauty of the Arboretum. And we have to give a huge thank you to Tammy from True Love Photography! She captured this absolutely stunning picture during their ceremony, freezing a beautiful moment in time.
