Taylor and William
The Venue
Taylor and William chose The Barn at Hidden Oaks Farm is brand new. It has hanging, gorgeous chandeliers that could easily be hung
in the most elegant ballroom. They crown a spacious reception area that can easily hold large groups. The
bride’s quarters and the groom’s hangout are beautiful, and tastefully appointed. There is a wonderful rear
patio that is a perfect setting for a wedding ceremony. Large glass doors, roll into the ceiling offering an
impressive entrance for the bride and her escort. The overall setting is country, with grazing sheep, and wide
vistas for the eyes to feast upon. It is the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding celebration. It was into this
setting that Taylor and William came to be married with their close friends and family. It was just perfect!
The Ceremony
Taylor and William worked with Lon Tosi from the officiating company Sensational Ceremonies to bring their
vision of a fun but yet meaningful custom wedding ceremony to life. Lon provided the couple with a planning kit
full of ideas and suggestions for a ceremony. They used the kit along with Lon’s guidance to create their own
ceremony.
Family is so important to Taylor and William. Lon addressed the parents in the ceremony thanking them for the
love and guidance that they had provided to the couple. That provided for a very touching moment in the
ceremony. There was a reading about growing old together. There were words about being soulmates. They
did the “Lock and Key” ceremony that ended in throwing the keys away after the locks were joined together
“forever”. One lock was engraved with the words “Always and Forever”; the other with their names and
marriage date. That was a very touching moment for all!
Taylor and William wrote special words to one another. Lon read them in the ceremony. She wrote in part: “You
are my confidant, the one person I can share my deepest thoughts and fears with, knowing that you will listen
without judgment and offer guidance when needed. It is what truly makes you my soulmate”. He wrote in
part: “You are so strong and resilient, and I wish I had a fraction of how much you can withstand”. Lon stated
the following words at the end of the ceremony, you are “simply meant to be”.
