10th Anniversary

Megan and Josh came from North Carolina and chose the Birch and Vine Restaurant at the beautiful Birchwood in downtown St. Petersburg as the venue for their 10th Anniversary Vow Renewal Ceremony in late November.  The Birchwood is St. Pete’s premier destination for boutique lodging, unique dining and rooftop lounging. Birch and Vine is an amazing place to celebrate one’s 10th anniversary.

The Birchwood was originally constructed in 1924.  The Spanish Mission-style building underwent a renovation a few years ago of historically accurate dimensions, along with the addition of two floors.  With only 18 rooms the Boutique Inn provides a quaint yet modern stay in the heart of the waterfront district in downtown St. Petersburg, just steps away from Vinoy Park and the new St. Pete Pier District.  While maintaining a bed and breakfast feel, the Inn also offers a stunning view of Tampa Bay from its rooftop lounge, The Canopy.

The Birch & Vine offers world-class dining and is lauded as one of the top restaurants in downtown St. Petersburg.  The luxury of fine dining combined with St. Petersburg’s laid-back lifestyle creates an alluring dining experience for all. This was the perfect location for Megan and Josh’s 10th anniversary celebration.

In front of an intimate gathering of their family and friends, the couple shared their own personal vows and were pronounced “once again” as husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies (who performed their original ceremony 10 years ago).
