Erin and Branden
Erin and Branden met during a chance encounter at an emergency room in Lake County. Emily, an emergency room nurse and and Branden, a first responder on an ambulance became fast, friends, roommates, and then love followed.
When looking for the perfect location for their wedding, the couple chose Highland Manor in Apopka. The southern charm of this beautiful venue was absolutely meant to be for the two of them. There under the massive live oak tree, the couple took their vows, exchanged wedding rings, and became husband and wife.
Jesse Giles Photography was there to capture every moment of Erin and Branden‘s wedding day. From photos of the couple getting ready, through the ceremony and into the reception, Jesse captured it all. These pictures they will cherish for a lifetime.
Wedding coordination was provided for the wedding of Erin and Branden by PS I love you, Weddings and Events. Bonnie did a great job of organizing the couples wedding day and making sure that everything ran smoothly.
Erin and Branden asked Rev Glynn Ferguson with Sensational Ceremonies to officiate their wedding ceremony. The couple was able to pick out exactly what they wanted for their wedding ceremony. Rev Glynn also gave them a homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Erin wrote: Branden is protective and selfless. He loves with every fiber of his being and I know he would do anything to make sure that I feel it. He is incredibly thoughtful and romantic; my hand is always in his and I always come home to something that lets me know I was on his mind while I was gone. He is the perfect blend of serious and silly. He is wildly intelligent, and he makes me laugh every day. He is hard working and invests everything he has into keeping us safe and making me happy. I have zero doubt about how he feels about me, ever. I am so lucky, secure and so loved. He is an amazing man and an amazing partner, and I hope I can always make him feel as cherished and special and safe as he makes me feel.
Branden wrote: Erin and I met as professional co-workers, grew as friends, struggled as two roommates going through two divorces and somehow found time for a relationship to grow into love. Our relationship started and evolved in an environment that should have snuffed it out. Our compatibility and patience with each other allowed us to overcome issues that should have separated us.
Her emotional, social and situational intelligence is inspiring. Erin can read a dynamic and complex situation and draw appropriate conclusions. It seems like she has answers when I’m still processing the information. She has convictions, principles and values that align with mine. She can have deep intellectual conversations and express herself well. There is so much depth to her and I am so excited to explore her mind and her heart.
Erin is exceptionally compassionate and gives people grace to make mistakes when it’s difficult to. Her humor has incredible range and can laugh at all sorts of things. One of our favorite things to do is before going to bed, we will scroll through Instagram together watching whatever reels or videos and laugh together. This year, we came back from Montana. Working in the emergency department is exceptionally taxing for a lot of reasons. Seeing her rejuvenated and inspired from hiking was so bittersweet. It was rough knowing she has so much stress at work, but it was the greatest feeling in the world knowing she had the emotional and mental relief. For days we watched hiking videos and gear reviews. As an outdoorsman, I had to keep up with her. She was so motivated and driven to hike together. She still is, but school has made us put a temporary hold on it. Just watching her excitement lit up my world. My priority as a man and as her partner is her happiness, her confidence and her safety. Being able to see her confident and happy from our Montana trip reaffirms how important it is for me to support whatever will bring her happiness and confidence.
We have been through a lot together in five years. There is no one I would want to commit the rest of my life to than her.
What a beautiful evening it was for Erin and Branden to tie the knot and begin their happily ever after.
