But Mother Nature had other plans. Hurricanes Helene and Milton swept through, leaving a trail of damage in their wake, including their chosen venue. Talk about a wedding wrench!
But did this dynamic duo let a little storm cloud dampen their spirits? Absolutely not! They showed true grit and decided the show must go on! They weren’t about to let a little weather ruin their big day. Instead of panicking, they embraced the challenge and made a bold decision: they’d tie the knot in the most special place of all – their own backyard! How romantic is that?
This wasn’t just any backyard wedding, though. Laura and Anthony crafted a personalized ceremony that reflected their unique love story. They included a beautiful and meaningful “Blessing of the Hands” ritual, symbolizing their commitment to hold each other through thick and thin, sunshine and storms. Imagine the emotion as they exchanged vows and rings in front of their adorable son and daughter! It was a truly intimate and heartwarming moment.
Officiating this beautiful backyard wedding was the one and only Rev Rick Lackore from Sensational Ceremonies.
