“A Dream You Dream Together is Reality”
Kathleen and Douglas wanted to elope on St. Pete Beach behind the resort where they were staying on a chilly, wind-swept evening right at sunset on December 8, 2020.
The couple walked hand in hand down to the water’s edge. The couple’s custom designed ceremony included a Blessing of the Hands and a quote by John Lennon: “a dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” This quote was important to Douglas as he is a lead singer in a Tribute Band and was well aware that December 8th was the anniversary of John Lennon’s passing. Then, with an amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico as their backdrop, the couple shared their vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.
