A True Disney Princess
David and Aurora came to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida so that his Aurora could be a true Disney princess on their wedding day. Aurora said “we wanted a Disney wedding, but wanted to keep it small and intimate, so we chose the Disney Wedding Pavilion for our wedding celebration.”
Disney Fairytale Weddings took care of every detail for the couple and their guests. Their wedding planner told them, that from the moment they stepped into their transportation that morning, that Disney’s goal was to make them guests at their own wedding. And they were!
David and Aurora walked down the aisle to beautiful music played on the organ by Bill and accompanied by Rob on the violin.
The rich dark red roses that they wore and carried down the aisle were painstakingly crated by the Disney floral department, just for them.
Rev.Glynn Ferguson an official Walt Disney World Wedding Officiant and with the Orlando Team of Sensational Ceremonies worked with David and Aurora to create a beautiful ceremony filled with their faith and touched with love and laughter. He also asked them to write and say why they loved each other.
David wrote: They may not be a lot or super passionate but it doesn’t take much to make me realize how special someone can be to me and to my heart. So let me begin by saying she has cared about me and for me. I love that she has changed things about herself just for me and my likings. She’s so caring on always making me feel safe and happy every day. Always asking me how’s my day and what can help to make things better.
I love how she’s always helping me and my problems, educating me on everyday news in life and with her career and our health. She is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. I love the way she looks at me and gives me those cute smiles and just wrap her arms around me making me feel comfortable and myself around her. I just love the little things that she does around me and for me.
Aurora wrote: There are a plethora of reasons why I love David. It is hard for me to put it into exact words. He is kind, thoughtful, loyal, calm and altogether just a wonderful man. He has got to be the most patient person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. David has been my biggest supporter throughout high school, college, and nursing school. He reminds me every day that I am loved and that I deserve the best that life has to offer. His hugs make me forget about any hardship that I have ever encountered. His smile and laugh fill my day with pure joy. I love that he is the exact opposite of me. He completes me in every single way. He makes me want to be the best version of myself that I can be. I love the way his eyes sparkle when he talks about star wars or marvel heroes. I love that he thinks my cooking is always too spicy but eats all of it anyway. I love that he supports all of my obsessions including Disney trips! I just simply love David for being nothing more than who he is. Most of all I love David because I know in my heart that God made him for me. I knew that July 20th, 2012 the day we met.
Congratulations Aurora and David!
