Deborah and Michael
A Fairytale Elopement at the Iconic “Pink Palace”
There is something truly magical about a morning wedding by the sea. This past November, Deborah and Michael traveled to the legendary Don CeSar on St. Pete Beach to begin their forever. Under a clear blue sky, they celebrated an elopement that was the perfect mix of classic elegance and tropical romance.
The Historic “Pink Palace”
Known worldwide as the Pink Palace, The Don CeSar is more than just a hotel; it is a storied icon. Since 1928, its grand towers have sat high atop the wind-swept dunes, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. This historic landmark has hosted everyone from movie stars and presidents to famous authors. Today, it remains the ultimate destination for couples who want their wedding to feel like a timeless masterpiece.
A Walk to Remember
The morning was soft and bright as Deborah made her way across the sugar-white sands. Looking absolutely radiant, she was escorted by her son—a touching moment that added an extra layer of love to the day. She met Michael in front of the hotel’s famous beach swing, where the salty breeze and the sound of the waves set the stage for their intimate ceremony.
Heartfelt Vows and “The Blessing of the Hands”
Working with Rev. Rick Lackore from Sensational Ceremonies, the couple created a custom service that was uniquely theirs. A highlight of the morning was the Blessing of the Hands, a beautiful ritual that symbolizes the couple’s promise to support and care for one another through all of life’s adventures.
In front of their closest family members, Deborah and Michael shared personal vows that came straight from the heart. After exchanging rings and a joyful first kiss, they were officially pronounced husband and wife.
Capturing the Magic
An elopement this beautiful deserves to be remembered forever. Tammy from True Love Photography was on hand to capture every smile, every tear, and every golden ray of Florida sunshine. Meanwhile, Kasey and the dedicated staff at The Don CeSar ensured that every detail was flawless, allowing the couple to simply focus on each other.
To the new Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Deborah Liss: May your life together be as grand and beautiful as the Pink Palace itself!
