Estate in Sarasota
Kristine and Alex chose the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, FL as the venue for their wedding ceremony on a beautiful afternoon in early December. The Powel Crosley Estate resides impressively on 45 acres overlooking an expansive, unobstructed view of Sarasota Bay. Built in 1925 by famed inventor Powel Crosley, and originally named Sea Gate, the two and a half-story structure represents an example of Florida’s Mediterranean Revival Architecture.
Kristine looked gorgeous in her wedding gown, as she was escorted down the aisle by her father, to the ceremony site on the Loggia in back of the Estate in Sarasota, where she joined Alex at the bottom of the stairs. The couple’s custom designed ceremony included a Thank You to the Parents, the Blessing of the Hands, and special readings Union by Robert Fulghum and All I Want. Then, as their family and friends, and with the shimmering waters of Sarasota Bay behind them, the couple shared their own personal written vows with each other, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.
DJ Angel, with Celebrations 24, provided the audio and a custom playlist created by the bride and groom for the ceremony, and flawless Wedding Coordination was provided by Samantha with You Said Yes! Weddings and Events. Special thanks to Brad Hall Studios who provided the Video and this beautiful picture during the ceremony as Kristine shared her personal vows with Alex.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Alex Martinez!
