Lucy and Diego

Lucy and Diego, a couple from Tallahassee, chose to celebrate their love with a romantic elopement at the iconic Don CeSar on St. Pete Beach. On a beautiful morning in mid-September, they exchanged vows on the beach, with the stunning Gulf of Mexico as their backdrop.

The Don CeSar, affectionately known as the “Pink Palace,” is a true legend. Perched atop windswept dunes, the hotel exudes old-world glamour and sophistication. Since 1928, it has welcomed the world’s elite, from silver screen stars to renowned authors, U.S. presidents, and even a gangster or two. Today, guests can experience the legendary Pink Palace® for themselves, immersing themselves in its iconic and romantic grandeur. It was the perfect location for Lucy and Diego to get married.

Lucy, escorted by her father, walked gracefully across the sand to join Diego at their ceremony site on the beach. The backdrop was a perfect blend of the iconic swing behind the Don and the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico.

The couple’s custom-designed ceremony included a meaningful Blessing of the Hands ritual, adding a touch of personalization to their special day. With their families gathered around them, Lucy and Diego shared heartfelt vows, exchanged rings, and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev. Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.

The entire event was orchestrated by the talented team at The Don CeSar, with Jennifer taking the lead as the Venue and Event Coordinator. Special thanks to Tammy of True Love Photography for capturing the couple’s precious moments during the ceremony.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Diego Castro! May their love continue to blossom like the vibrant hues of the Pink Palace, amidst the timeless beauty of St. Pete Beach.
