Magical

Magical

Alexandra, an Emergency Room Nurse, and John, a graduate research assistant, met and fell in love and decided that they wanted their wedding to be in the most magical place on earth.  There in Orlando, at the Walt Disney World Wedding Pavilion, the couple walked the aisle, took their vows, and became husband and wife.

With Kristie from Disney Fairytale Weddings helping them plan every aspect of their wedding day, there was no chance for them to miss any magical detail.  She worked with the couple to make sure every detail, no matter how small, was taken care of and that everything ran smoothly and on time.

The Walt Disney World Florist also jumped through the hoops to make sure all of their floral needs were met.  From the gorgeous pink, red and white roses in Alexandra’s bouquet to the matching centerpiece on the alter table, everything looked magical!

Wanting to incorporate an outside vendor into the mix can often dispel the magic of the day, but Dana Lynn Photography really stepped right into the crystal slipper and made the magic for Alexandra and John. Her photography captured every magical moment of the couple’s day.

John and Alexandra took a look a the list of Walt Disney World Wedding Officiants and asked Rev. Glynn Ferguson of Sensational Ceremonies  to help them create a custom wedding that would fit the two of them.  From picking out wedding readings, incorporating the unity candle, and then the “homework” assignment that he gave them, they were in the driver’s seat of their own magical ceremony. Rev. Glynn Ferguson asked John and Alexandra to write and tell him why they love each other and he then put that into the ceremony.

Alexandra wrote:  I love John because he keeps me calm when I get too excited. He pushes me to be the best person I can possibly be and doesn’t hide what’s on his mind. I can always count on him to tell me the truth and can trust him wholeheartedly. He has made me the best version of myself. Better than I could do on my own. I love him because he is willing to try new things with me. He is loving and protective of me. I can never stay mad at him. He always finds a way to cheer me up, and I can be my complete self around him. Being with John is like having complete freedom that I could never have with any other type of relationship, even family. I told him that he was my soulmate and I still believe it every day.

John wrote:  I love Alexandra because she’s an extraordinarily spunky and competitive person. She loves to play games (escape rooms, board games, cards, etc.), and she always takes everything seriously. When Alexandra’s playing a game, she’ll have a determined look on her face, and if she thinks I’m goofing off, she’ll give me a Clint Eastwood squint and tell me to focus. I love how caught up she gets with everything. Whether it’s movies, games, or planning a trip, she is always fully invested. Alexandra’s also very outgoing and compassionate, which balances me out. I’d be more than happy to live my life as a hermit, but she makes me go out occasionally and try new things, which is usually a good thing. Overall, I’d say we balance each other perfectly, and we’re better when we are together.

Congratulations to John.  May all your marriage wishes come true.
