Michaela wrote: He’s the most stable facet of my life that I’ve ever known. There’s never been a single day of playing games or questioning where we stood. We were talking about marriage within two weeks…which to be honest it was a little embarrassing looking back but it really was a “when you know you know” thing.
My biggest complaint about him has always been how unreasonably easy going he is. You couldn’t get him worked up if you tried. He’s too patient and too generous and kind to those who could never deserve it. He’ll inconvenience himself for a stranger. I’ll never understand it but that obviously comes with its good sides and a big reason I love him. The generosity he extends to his closest people is par none. I get more leniency from him than I am owed. And this is where we find our largest opposite traits hahaha. I’m more particular and less forgiving. He’s said over time that in good ways I’ve rubbed off on him. We still have hope one day I’ll chill out more too.
I think we balance each other well.
He really is the man they write fairytales about.
The only man my father would ever approve of with all of his unrealistically high dad expectations. When I vent to him about any conflicts he always gives Jake the benefit of the doubt and his advice reflects that. You’ll never find someone who has any bad things to say about Jake.
He’s someone I’m immensely proud to claim as my partner!
Jake wrote: Me and Michaela have been together for a little over seven years now and what makes our bond and relationship so special is I believe the effortless dedication to always trying to being the best boyfriend/girlfriend now fiancé and soon husband/wife to each other. We naturally support and fill each other’s gaps from small tasks like helping around the house to being emotionally available when a tough days arise. Me and Michaela met when we were just 20 and 21 and our infatuation for one another made made us grow together as people over the years. Many of the reasons why I love Michaela is because we always find comfort in each other’s presence. We naturally tend to spend all of our free time together and I truly get excited to come home at the end of the day and catch up on whatever our days have been. I always know she’ll have my back in any situation I’m in, and I feel the genuine care she always has for me. My love for her continues to grow daily and I know for a fact that any success I have in life will be massively helped by her support of me.
We want to wish them happiness for a lifetime. May the love that has spanned the oceans fill their lives with joy.
