Sheila and Elson

Even though Sheila and Elson lived locally, they still wanted something simple for their wedding day.  The couple reached out to Intimate Weddings of Orlando, and Victoria helped them to choose the elopement package.  This simple package was exactly what they were looking for. No fuss, great vendors, and a relaxing environment.

On their wedding day, everything was scheduled and ready to go, when an unplanned rainstorm rushed through the area, and the rain threatened to stop everything.  Their vendors watched the weather, stood under umbrellas until the storm had passed, and jumped into action just as soon as the weather cleared.

Debra with Atmospheres Floral and Decor crafted a beautiful all rose bouquet and boutonniere for Sheila and Elson that fit their color palette perfectly.  With roses that can best be described as orange sherbet in color, they popped in color against the groom’s suit and in Sheila’s hands.

Edmund with Trueye Photography was a real trooper.  Not only did he stand under an umbrella to wait for the rain to end, but he did an Amazing job of capturing every moment of the couple’s wedding ceremony and into formal pictures afterward.

Waiting in the rain and with umbrellas to share Rev. Glynn Ferguson the owner of  Sensational Ceremonies and  an Orlando wedding officiant,  was there to calm the nerves of the couple and when the rain had passed he stepped up to deliver a beautiful custom ceremony.  with their Christian faith front and center Rev. Ferguson wanted to make it more personal.  He had them both write paragraphs telling him why they love each other.

Sheila wrote:  I love Elson because he sees me clearly and loves me completely, without conditions or expectations, and in that love I feel known and cherished. He loves God sincerely and desires to keep Him at the center of our relationship, which gives me peace and confidence in the life we are building together. We share the same values, and he shows up with kindness, compassion, patience, and loyalty in ways that feel steady and safe.

Elson, my love, carries a clear and thoughtful vision for us as a couple, a future built with intention. I love his commitment to us, his consistency, and the way he chooses me every day. I treasure the simplicity of our connection, how we can be nothing more than friends enjoying each other’s company, laughing, talking, and simply being. Elson compliments me in a way that feels divinely aligned, natural and effortless. With him, love feels genuine, balanced, and deeply rooted.

Elson wrote:  Answering the question of why I love Sheila could easily become a long and complex discourse, given her many qualities. However, to offer a sincere summary that truly reflects my feelings, I would say this: my future wife is, in my eyes, the embodiment of everything that is good, true, and precious. She represents love in its purest and most authentic form. For me, Sheila symbolizes sincerity, self-respect, and integrity, fundamental values that I hold dear. In her, I have found a partner who complements me wonderfully. By God’s grace, we understand one another with a harmony that is rare in these times, and this connection is a constant source of gratitude for me.
Sheila is a woman of wisdom, passion, and love. Her sincerity, gentleness, and kind nature enrich my life every day. She also has a warm and friendly spirit that I deeply appreciate, as it brightens our daily lives. Above all, her reverence for God and her deep faith are among the most precious pillars of our union.
For all these reasons, I love her sincerely, and I am ready, with commitment and humility, to hold her hand for the rest of my life, to support her, to respect her, and to walk with her according to God’s will.
May the Lord bless us abundantly, grant us the grace to fulfill our plans and dreams, and allow us to continue moving forward together on the path He has laid out for us.

We want to wish these newlyweds their very on happily ever after.
