Tampa Waterfront

Tampa Waterfront

Lisa and Noah had planned to elope in Rome over the summer, but had to change their plans due to Covid-19.  They decided on a Friday in mid-September to get married on Sunday in Kiley Gardens in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park attracts over one million people annually, and is a place to meet and enjoy Tampa’s waterfront on the Hillsborough River. Some of its features include a great sloped lawn, splash pads, a playground, dog run and a boat dock and water taxi spot.  It is also centrally located along Downtown Tampa’s Riverwalk and serves as a hub for art, restaurants, performances, fitness and more.

The happy couple walked hand in hand to their ceremony site overlooking the University of Tampa across the river.  The couple’s custom ceremony included words about Love, Friendship, Loyalty, Fidelity and Trust.  Then, in front of their children, the couple shared their wedding vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.

Special thanks to Tammy, with True Love Photography, for providing this beautiful picture during their ceremony and A True Love Affair Intimate Florida Weddings for coordinating all the details.
