Natalie and Alistair
Natalie and Alistair met on a blind date more than 12 years ago and the rest is history. The couple decided to travel from the United Kingdom to get married on the shores of Lake yin Orlando, Florida at Paradise Cove.
Rev. Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and a official Walt Disney World wedding, worked with Natalie and Alistair to create a beautiful and touching ceremony. That spoke to their love for each other. With their two dollars walking the aisle before them, a couple said their vows and exchange wedding rings to become husband and wife. Rev Glynn gave the two of them my homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other and then he incorporated that into the ceremony to make it all the more special
Natalie wrote: When we met Alistair had a little saying “you can’t fight fate” and I’m so happy that our fate has turned out this way.
One of the most endearing things about Alistair is that always stands up for what he believes in. With mass amounts of energy, lighting up any room, his obsession with jujitsu, he knows the most random facts, has wicked sense of humour and sense of adventure-there’s not many people you can buy a surprise bungee jump for!
He’s driven, stubborn, works hard, he’s passionate about his dreams, we share jokes, be silly, he gives the best cuddles that take my worries away and make me feel safe.
I can’t wait to continue life’s adventures with Alistair but most important of all, he fills my life and our home and lives with laughter and love and is the most amazing dad to our 2 girls-I couldn’t have dreamed of a better role model for our girls.
He is my best friend and partner in one, a safe space where I can be my true self who cares for me in the good times and the bad-and that is why I love him.
Let’s move onto the next chapter of Marriage, enjoy and appreciate the little moments for one day we’ll look back as realise they are the big things.
Alistair wrote: Why do I love her……There are many reasons I love this woman from her sense of humour, her open minded opinions, her never ending empathy and her fiery temper (although we don’t see this very often) but I think the thing that stands out to me the most is her kindness, she is the kindest most loving gentle soul I have ever meet. It is not very often you come across some one who is so kind that they inadvertently make you a better person just for being around them! In the 12 nearly 13 years I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing her there is not a single aspect of my life that she had not improved, and she is also beautiful which is a nice addition to the mix.
WHAT A WOMEN.
KMD Photo and Film was there to capture every moment of the couples wedding day. From shots of Natalie getting ready before the ceremony to Alistair having his boutonniere pin on by the minister, then through the ceremony and into their cake cutting.
Amy with Blossoms Orlando created a stunning bouquet and matching boutonniere for the two of them. She also provided the gorgeous arch decor that Grace the sides of either side of the arch as a couple stood there together with her guest looking on as they took their vowels in front of Blake Brian
Dianne with Married By Mail worked with Natalie and Alistair to get their Florida marriage license long before they ever arrived in Florida. The ability to do this to an a tremendous amount of stress off of the two of them as their license was hand-delivered to their efficient long before they ever got to town.
We want to wish Natalie and Alistair the very own happily ever after
