Brenna and Dawson

Brenna and Dawson met while at college and it was unforgettable. The couple dated for a while and fell in love.

Brenna and Dawson chose the historic Dubsdred Ballroom as the site for their intimate wedding. There, on the beautiful patio behind this historic building the couple took their vows, exchange, wedding rings and became husband and wife.

Officiating their ceremony was Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant. He crafted a beautiful touching ceremony that fit Brenna and Dawson perfectly with words from scripture, and touches like writing  paragraphs tell him why they love each other. It was absolutely perfect.

Brenna wrote: Couples often say they can’t wait to grow old together, but I have been lucky to watch us grow so much already. A lot about us has changed since we first met as two kids starting college. But some things always remain the same, and those are the things

I love about Dawson no matter how much time has passed. Dawson has always encouraged me to never give up easily, and to fight for the

things I want even when I’m afraid of failing. He calms and grounds me when I’m stressing over nothing. And when there is something to be stressed about, there’s no one I trust and depend on more to help make the hard decisions.

Dawson always wants to become a better version of himself. Sometimes he wakes up one day and decides, for example, he will no longer be drinking soda. The annoying part is that unlike most people’s New Year’s resolutions, or every hobby I’ve ever started, he actually manages to stick with these decisions. He’s just disciplined like that.

I have always admired Dawson’s determination, his integrity, his desire for both himself and the world around us to be better. I hope we can continue to grow not just older together, but better together.

Dawson wrote: To be marrying Brenna is truly a dream come true. What started as a friendship many years ago has grown into an inseparable bond that continues to strengthen everyday. I cherish every moment that has passed with Brenna and look forward to those yet to come. 

Brenna is a witty, kind and beautiful woman and I am so lucky to be the man she has chosen to have by her side. I love that our relationship can be both silly and serious because it’s important to have a balance of both in life. Neither of us are the type for grand gestures but we make up for it with the little things. Greeting each other at the front door, making meals together, rock climbing after work and coffee runs on Saturday mornings may seem small, but they are reminders to us both that what matters most is spending quality time together and being there for each other. 

In the same way a lego set is built brick by brick, I will continue to build our relationship hug by hug, kiss by kiss, and coffee by coffee so that at the end of it all we can stand back and hold dear every step along the way. I am so happy to finally call you my wife.

Elegant Entertainment brought all the music for the ceremony and kept this morning wedding hopping on the dance floor until mid afternoon.
