Dana and Dave

Dana and Dave live in Illinois, but they wanted to have their elopement ceremony on the beach in mid-May, so they contacted the resort staff at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa on Clearwater Beach to coordinate all the details.

Their exclusive beach lends ample opportunity for private beachfront events with views of the Gulf of Mexico and the award-winning sunsets known to Clearwater Beach, which is the perfect backdrop to say, “I do.” Dana and Dave thought the venue was the perfect venue for them.

Dana was escorted across the sand by her son to join Dave at their ceremony site.  The couples’ custom designed ceremony included The Blessing of the Hands and Blended Family Vows. Then, in front of Dana’s children and parents, and with an amazing view of the Gulf of America as their backdrop, the couple shared their vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore with Sensational Ceremonies.
