Michael and Katie
When Michael and Katie were looking for the perfect venue for their wedding. They knew that they had struck gold when they found the Howey Mansion.
Built in 1925, this one of a kind Citrus Barron mansion set up on a low hilltop with views of the lake beyond.
Christy with Anna Christine Events did an absolutely amazing job of bringing together and recommending some of those talented wedding vendors to make Michael and Katie’s wedding come to life. No detail is left undone by Kristy and her amazing team.
Miguel Angel Photography traveled from the Tampa area to come make sure that every detail of the couples wedding day was captured for Michael and Katie to share for a lifetime. From photos of the bridal party getting ready, through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and late into the reception he captured it all.
KP Floral Design did an amazing job with all the wedding flowers. From Katie’s stunning bouquet that was filled with white roses, succulents and ferns to the table decor and the flower arch around the ceremony site. They really knocked it out of the ballpark.
DJ David with Soundwave Entertainment brought the tunes for the wedding day. From instrumental music as Michael and Katie came down the aisle, through the cocktail hour, and he kept the dance floor hopping laid into the evening. David even arranged for the couple to have a private dance with just the two of them.
Arthur’s catering worked their culinary magic to bring scrumptious appetizers to the cocktail hour and food fit for a king to the reception. Everything was delicious.
Sweet Miss V’s did an outstanding job on Michael and Katie’s wedding cake. I only was it visually stunning, but it also was delicious. Not a morsel was left by the end of the evening.
Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies, worked with Michael and Katie to create a beautiful custom ceremony that was filled with both laughter and tears. He gave the two of them a homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Michael wrote: I love Katie for many reasons and proves that it is difficult to write only a single paragraph on this topic. Katie is the reason that I get up in the morning and push myself to be the man for her. She has sacrificed so much for me in the past and that’s one thing I love about her is her selflessness. She puts others above herself and pours herself out for the people she loves. The way she is caring towards others, and loving is a testament of the woman she is and the kind of wife she is to be. She is always making me smile and laugh with her goofy quirks and sense of humor. Her spontaneous spirit and adventurous soul are some of the reasons why I love her. Always going on spontaneous trips and random activities keeps our relationship fun and exciting. All of these attributes and characteristics are still not the largest reason why I love Katie. The thing that means the most to me is Katie’s Beliefs. She has never stopped believing in what she wants for herself, for us, or for me. It’s the reason why we’ve gotten this far into our relationship and have pushed us during the hard times and challenges.
Katie wrote: “I love my future husband because he is my rock, my best friend, and my greatest support. His kindness, patience, and unwavering belief in me inspire me every day to be the best version of myself. I admire how he listens to me with a deep understanding, offering guidance and comfort when I need it most. His sense of humor always lightens my day, and his loyalty makes me feel safe and cherished. I am constantly amazed by his strength, intelligence, and the way he approaches life with such optimism. Most of all, I love him for the love he gives so freely, and for the beautiful future we will build together.”
A huge shout out to all the vendors that made this wedding day possible for Michael and Katie.
We want to wish them happiness for a lifetime!
