Old Friends
The Venue
The Crystal Ballroom in Metro West is beyond elegant! It features wonderful art work, much crystal and so much more. In fact, it is over-the-top gorgeous! It offers an amazing reception area and separate ceremony sites on premises that allow for the use of accent the pieces suited for royals with candelabras, fine china and napkins. Couples can decorate each table with color and fabric coordinated chair sashes tied to match the theme and style that they envision. It is into this elegant and gorgeous setting that Edwin and Amanda “old friends” brought their family and friends to celebrate their coming together as husband and wife!
The Couple
They couple had known each other for many years. They truly were “old friends”. Amanda has discerning tastes and it took her time to make certain that Edwin was her perfect match. He is! He is kind and considerate and very loving! They make a perfect couple. Lon Tosi, an Orlando wedding officiant with the team of Sensational Ceremonies has been friends with Amanda, for many years and wanted to make certain that their wedding ceremony was just perfect. He started working with them many months before the big date, using a wonderful planning kit. The couple chose items from the kit that matched their specific needs and desires. Then Lon made suggestions regarding readings and vows. The end result was an amazing and heartfelt ceremony that had the audience in tears.
The Ceremony
The couple wrote special words to one another, that provided for deep and emotional moments in the ceremony. It was truly gripping!
He wrote to her: “No one understands me better than you do. Even when I don’t talk, you read my t my heart and know just what I need; the right words to say at the right time and how to make me happy on my sad days.”
She wrote: I love you for the way that you love me and how you put my needs before your own, and do it selflessly and happily!” Such beautiful words! There was a reading at the end of the ceremony that captures the essence of their relationship. Entitled I Will Love You Forever, it speaks of their eternal love. It ends with the following statement: “And when they use our atoms to make new lives, they won’t just be able to take one, they’ll have to take two, one of you one of me.” Truly words that can be so meaningful for “old friends”
