Shannon and Darryl traveled from the United Kingdom for a fun getaway in Orlando Florida. While the couple was here, they decided that they wanted to get married and so they contacted Intimate Weddings of Orlando for assistance.
Connie with Intimate Weddings of Orlando recommended the elopement package and helped a couple to pick out the perfect location for their elopement.
Flowers by Lesley created the striking bouquet and matching boutonniere out of bright white roses that match the bride dress perfectly.
Rev Glynn Ferguson, the owner of Sensational Ceremonies and an official Walt Disney World wedding officiant, worked with Shannon and Darrell to create a beautiful custom ceremony that fit the two of them perfectly.
He gave the two of them a homework assignment to write and tell him why they love each other.
Shannon wrote: From the very beginning Darryl has always been the first person I want to speak to in a morning, the last one before bed and the first to share any good/bad news with He is my best friend He always knows how to cheer me up and makes me feel like the most special girl in the whole world.
He is so funny and so thoughtful and the best cat dad to our Leo He is my biggest supporter and always knows the right things to say even if I don’t always believe it There is truly nobody else I would want to do life with and I couldn’t ask for a better person to become my husband
Darryl wrote: She’s caring, loving and so thoughtful of others so being a nurse this makes her job perfect for her. She’s smashing life at the moment in her career as a nurse as she’s just been promoted to deputy ward manager! I couldn’t be prouder of her she truly deserves it. I’m struggling to give reasons on why I love her because I love. Everything about her I love just the little things like spending a Saturday night in bed with snacks and our phones and laughing till the early morning about stupid stuff! She’s more than just a partner she’s my best friend an truly my soul mate and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our life’s together.
To make everything legal, Shannon and Darryl used Married By Mail to obtain their Florida marriage license for them long before they walked down the aisle.
